Amelie in Houston Airport
Amelie patiently waits to board the airplane in Houston Intercontinental Airport for her fun summer vacation in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While in the airport she enjoyed watching the airplanes take off and land. She also loved watching all of the travelers in the airport, like her mom she is a people watcher.

Amelie Boarding the Airplane for Puerto Rico
Her and her mom had seafood at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.
Her favorite thing to do while in Puerto Rico is playing on the playa (beach). She has her Paris luggage and independently carries it herself. On the plane she like to watch movies on her DVD player. This particular plane ride she watched ‘Bolt’, one of her all time favorite movies so far.

Amelie’s mom purchased her green Tykelight Buddy about a year ago. We had talked about the nightlight before she bought it and at that point I had only seen it through an online picture. I was pretty skeptical about Amelie liking it, it being comfortable enough to sleep with, and that it might one of many toys just ignored.
After Amelie received her Tykelight Buddy, I felt differently. She actually loved it. The night buddy produces this very cool glow or ambient light and has all smooth edges. It is very comfortable to hold and lay down with. The charge last about two days and also has a timer button on the botton for a timed shutdown. We have the Tykelight Buddy charger in her room on her desk so it is easy to charge nightly.
Amelie does like to sleep with her green Tykelight Buddy. It seems to provide comfort at night along with all of her stuffed animals.
In my opinion, the Tykelight Buddy would make a great gift, birthday present, or Christmas present for any child!

Here is a newer version:

Amelie loves to go to the Wells Branch Library, which is not much different than her room. Both have A LOT of books. She has loved books from a very early age. When she was very young, we would often find Amelie flipping through her kids books as if she could actually read. She currently has a doll house book case which is not only filled with books. At three years old, she does not do this often, but previously she would love to pull all her books down on the floor and just be surrounded by all of her children books.
Amelie’s Current Favorite Books are:

Amelie had a circus theme birthday party. She had friends and family over with a clown, face painting, moonwalk, and a snow cone machine.

One of her favorite gifts was the Fisher Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera. It can be dropped, soaked with water, and is very kid friendly. It has a color LCD preview screen, auto flash, has a USB connection and stores an optional Smart Card Memory stick to hold thousands of pictures.

Amelie sitting on a coqui (Puerto Rican Frog) statue at the Camuy Cave Park in Puerto Rico. Amelie enjoyed the coqui statue the most. She also liked seeing the Camuy Caves, the train ride to the cave, and playing with the water fountian at the platform above the cave entrance. Amelie did not like walking down the many wooden stairs to get to the caves entrance. Her dad had to carry her back up to the top.
